Residents in Stratford, Ontario, are facing dangerous travel conditions today, March 17, 2026, as heavy snow squalls move through the area. Environment Canada has issued a high-impact orange warning for Stratford, Mitchell, and Southern Perth County due to the intense weather.
The storm is expected to bring between 20 and 30 centimetres of snow to the region. Wind gusts are reaching speeds of 70 to 80 kilometres per hour, which is causing heavy blowing snow and making it very difficult to see while driving.
