The Spruce Grove Public Library is asking residents in Spruce Grove, Alberta, to share their ideas through a community survey to help create a new long-term plan for the library. This feedback will help the library decide which programs and services to focus on as it prepares for the next several years of serving the local community.
Residents have until April 1, 2026, to complete the survey and provide their input on how the library can best meet their needs. The information gathered will be used by the City of Spruce Grove Library Board to set priorities for future resources and community offerings.
The library is currently in the final year of its Strategic Plan of Service 2024–2026. As this cycle ends, the new plan will guide how the institution operates its two locations, which includes the branch found at Heavy Metal Place.
Participating in the survey gives local users a chance to ensure that upcoming library goals reflect the changing needs of the area. The library board is responsible for using this feedback to manage policies, budgets, and the overall vision for the community hub.
