The Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a shooting at a home on Bambi Trail in the Bolton area of the Town of Caledon, Ontario. The incident occurred on the evening of March 18, 2026, around 10:00 p.m.
Officers arrived at the residence after receiving reports of gunfire and confirmed that no one was hurt. The Caledon OPP Major Crime Unit is leading the investigation and says they do not believe the shooting is related to extortion.
Investigators are now searching for a white Kia sports utility vehicle that was seen driving away from the area immediately after the shots were fired. While police are asking the community to remain alert, they have stated there is currently no ongoing threat to public safety.
