The Regina Police Service found three missing residents, including two children, safe and unharmed in Regina, Saskatchewan, between March 23 and March 25, 2026. The successful searches ended three separate investigations that had prompted public appeals for information.
Eleven-year-old Talum Norton was found safe on March 23, 2026, the same day he was last seen near St. Nicholas School. Twelve-year-old Marah-Rose Galinec was also found safe on March 25, 2026, after she was last seen on March 22 near 26th Avenue.
Police also found 38-year-old Michael Deavu on March 25, 2026, ending a search that began when he disappeared in February 2025. All three cases are now closed, and police officials thanked the community for helping with the search efforts.
The Regina Police Service frequently asks for help from the public to find residents who have gone missing. Most of these reports result in the person being found safely, which police say shows the importance of quick community response.
