The 12th annual Canadian Dairy XPO (CDX) will take place April 1-2, 2026, at the Stratford Rotary Complex in Stratford, Ontario. This event is expected to bring over 17,000 dairy producers and their families to the community, which has the highest concentration of commercial dairy farms in Canada.
The showcase begins with the Canadian Dairy Business Summit on March 31, 2026. This summit focuses on teaching farmers about new technology like artificial intelligence and how to plan for the future of their family business.
According to the DLG (German Agricultural Society), more than 300 exhibitors from 30 different countries will display the latest dairy innovations and genetics. The DLG took over the event in 2024 and works with local founder Jordon Underhill to run the show.
The 2026 event includes new programs for young people, such as a clinic for showing cattle and a dairy judging workshop. There will also be a party called DairyFEST and an auction called Calves for a Cause that raises money for the Children’s Health Foundation to help local sick children.
Tickets for the event cost $25 for one day, and children 12 and under can attend for free. Local reporting states the gathering is an important way to support the local farming industry.
