The Cwench All Canadian Games are bringing the country’s top 24 senior high school boys and 24 senior high school girls basketball players to the Athlete Institute in Mono, near Orangeville, Ontario, for a two-day showcase starting April 4, 2026.
The event, which is officially sanctioned by the NBA, features players selected by a committee of coaches, scouts, and basketball stakeholders from across Canada. Games will take place at the Athlete Institute Fieldhouse, located at 207321 Highway 9, with tip-off on April 4 at 6:00 PM and April 5 at 1:00 PM.
This showcase serves as a major platform for young athletes, drawing representation from over 90 per cent of NBA teams. The games highlight Canada‘s growing influence in the sport, as the country currently holds a record number of players on NBA rosters for the 2025-26 season.
The event has a strong history of identifying future professional stars. Notable alumni who have participated in past years include Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets, as well as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Local residents often attend the games in high numbers, continuing a tradition of community support for elite high school talent in a region historically known for lacrosse and junior hockey.
The Cwench All Canadian Games were founded in 2015 by Tony McIntyre, Jesse Tipping, and John Celenza. The event is supported by a five-year title sponsorship deal with Cwench Hydration, which also facilitates national broadcast coverage of the games.
