The Arts Society of Kingston is welcoming the community to explore three new art exhibitions at its headquarters located at 97 Broadway in Kingston, New York. The exhibitions opened on April 4, 2026, and will remain on display through April 26, 2026.
The gallery hosted a public opening reception for the new collections on Friday, April 4. These exhibitions, which explore diverse themes such as landscape, memory, and material transformation, are now available for viewing during regular gallery hours. Visitors can attend on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from noon to 5:00 PM, or on Thursdays by appointment. Admission is free for all members of the public.
The current showcase features three distinct presentations. The Spotlight Gallery hosts the group exhibition Inner Worlds, Outer Views, which includes works by artists Lynn Margileth, O’Neil Edwards, and Eileen Power. In the Front Gallery, artist Ted Dixon is presenting his solo exhibition titled Two Seasons. Additionally, the Members Gallery features Explore Boundaries, a juried exhibition curated by Wayne Montecalvo that showcases the work of more than twenty regional artists working across various media.
Founded by local artists in 1995, the organization has grown into a nonprofit entity with over 300 members. The society has operated out of its current building in the Rondout district since 2005, with Amy Poux serving as the full-time executive director since December 2024.
