Kingston Police safely located an individual in distress on April 12, 2026, following a coordinated search near the intersection of John Counter Boulevard and Division Street.
Patrol officers responded to the area after receiving a report about the individual. To assist with the search, officers from the Traffic Safety Unit deployed drone technology to scan the vicinity. Within one hour, the drone operators identified a vehicle registered to the person, which allowed patrol officers to locate the individual safely inside.
The person was transported to Kingston General Hospital to receive medical care. This incident occurred near the Kingston Bus Terminal, a busy area that serves as a major thoroughfare connecting the east and west ends of the city.
