Residents in Stratford will gather this Sunday, April 19, 2026, for a community run and walk held at the Stratford Education and Recreation Centre to raise funds for a local resident and their family affected by breast cancer.
The event, titled Breast Cancer: Run/Walk for a Cause, begins at 9:00 a.m. at the centre’s track located at 197 Matilda Street and Oakdale Avenue. Organizers have designed the fundraiser to be family-friendly and open to participants of all fitness levels. Those attending the event will have access to refreshments and be eligible for prizes.

Attendees are encouraged to bring cash or gift card donations, which will be accepted on-site to help support Alyssa and her family during her health journey.
