The Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge, Alberta, is inviting families to celebrate Mother’s Day at its annual spring festival on Sunday, May 10, 2026. The event offers visitors a chance to enjoy the garden’s traditional landscape while participating in a variety of cultural and creative activities.
The festival will feature live entertainment and performances throughout the day. Admission for the event is $25 per person.
Located on the west shore of Henderson Lake, the garden serves as a site for community gatherings and cultural appreciation. Established in 1967 to symbolize friendship between Japan and Canada, the garden was designed by Dr. Tadashi Kubo and Dr. Masami Sugimoto of Osaka Prefecture University.
