The Waterloo Regional Police Service is asking residents in the Blair Creek area to check their home security footage following a break-in in Cambridge, Ontario. Investigators are looking for recordings from April 16, 2026, between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. that may show suspects running or changing their clothing.
The request follows two residential break-ins that occurred on April 16. The first incident took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. near Highgrove Court and Dickie Settlement Road in Cambridge. Less than an hour later, a second break-in occurred at a home near Robert Ferrie Drive and Thomas Slee Drive in Kitchener. In the Kitchener incident, the suspects fled on foot after a homeowner returned to find them inside the residence.
The investigation is being handled by the police department’s specialized Break Enter, Vehicle Theft, and Robbery (BEAR) Team under occurrence number WA26055383. Police are specifically asking anyone with cameras on Robert Ferrie Drive, Thomas Slee Drive, Pieter Vos Drive, or Blair Creek Drive to review their files for any suspicious activity during that two-hour window.
