Families in Ajax are invited to register for summer day camps, which still have space available for children and youth ages 4 to 17. The Town of Ajax programs will run weekly from June 29 through September 4, 2026.
The Recreation and Culture Department is offering a variety of camp themes to keep local youth active and engaged throughout the summer. The available categories include sports, performing arts, nature and exploration, science, multimedia, arts, leadership, and out trips.
Most programs are hosted at the Ajax Community Centre on Centennial Road, though the town utilizes multiple facilities across the community, such as the Audley Recreation Centre, to host its programs. Parents and guardians can secure a spot for their children through the ActiveAjax online portal.
The town has committed to ensuring all children can participate in these summer activities. Financial assistance is available for eligible residents facing financial difficulty. Additionally, the town offers inclusion services, which provide extra staff or volunteers to support children and youth with special needs in a low-ratio environment.
