Orangeville residents have until June 13, 2026, to weigh in on the new playground design at Rotary Park. The Town is currently running a public survey on three proposed designs, and once the deadline passes, staff will review the results and announce the winning concept.
The playground vote is one piece of a much larger project. The Rotary Park redevelopment, approved by Orangeville council in June 2022, is being delivered across six phases. Watermain work was completed in 2024, and the old play structure was removed in August 2024 to make way for the new build. Remaining phases include tennis and pickleball courts, a parking lot with an artificial skating loop, sports fields for baseball and soccer, and a new clubhouse.
Once the playground survey closes, Town staff plan to meet with contractors, the Rotary Club, and other partners to set construction timelines for the next stages of the project. The redevelopment is being delivered by private sector contractor RK & Associates Consulting Inc.
Residents can participate in the playground survey through the Town’s website until 11:59 p.m. on June 13, 2026.
