The Rotary Club of Ajax is bringing its annual Ribfest back to town from June 5 to June 7, 2026. The three-day event takes place at Ajax Downs Casino, located at 50 Alexander’s Crossing in Ajax, Ontario, offering a weekend of food and live entertainment for the community.
Visitors can choose from six award-winning rib vendors, including Uncle Sams, Billy Bones, Camp 31, Boss Hogs, Sneaky Petes, and Blazin BBQ. The event will also host over 15 additional food vendors serving items such as ice cream, kettle corn, and donuts, with Halal options available for attendees. Please note that the festival is a pet-free event, with the exception of service animals.
A variety of live performers will take the stage throughout the weekend, featuring acts such as Summer of 69, Jaxseat Driver, Jake Staufer, Little Peter and the Elegants, Georgia Rose, The Irelands, the Children & Youth Dance Theatre of Toronto, and a cultural fashion show. The gates will be open on Friday, June 5, from noon to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The festival serves as a major fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Ajax, which was founded in 1951. Over the past 70 years, the organization has raised and donated more than $1 million to support various local and international charities, including past commitments to the Ajax/Pickering Hospital, now part of Lakeridge Health (Lakeridge Health Ajax and Pickering).
