Residents and property owners in Bracebridge have an upcoming opportunity to provide input on proposed changes to local building fees and charges. The Town of Bracebridge will host a public meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. to discuss proposed amendments to building fees and charges under Section 7(6) of the Ontario Building Code Act, including updates to the building permit fee schedule and the introduction of new administrative surcharges.
The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Office, located at 1000 Taylor Court. This session is held in accordance with Section 7(6) of the Ontario Building Code Act, which requires municipalities to hold a public meeting before adopting new or amended building fees.
Those who cannot attend in person can participate electronically. The Planning and Development Committee will post instructions and a link to join the meeting via Zoom on its agenda on May 27, 2026.
