The RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina is giving visitors more time to explore this summer, with gallery hours extended to 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day through September 8, 2026. The centre is also bringing back its popular behind-the-scenes Depot Tours, which run Tuesday to Friday from June 2 to August 28 and offer a rare look inside the historic RCMP Academy.
The two-hour guided trolley tours take guests to areas normally closed to the public. Highlights include watching the Sergeant Major’s Parade, where real cadets perform a dismounted cavalry drill on the parade square, and visiting the RCMP Chapel, the oldest building in Regina. The tour also stops at the Cenotaph and eternal flame, which honour Mounties who died in the line of duty.
With only 24 spots available per tour, the centre strongly recommends booking ahead. Tour tickets include museum admission and cost $21 for adults, $16 for seniors, $14 for students, $15 for youth aged 12 to 17, $13 for children aged 5 to 11, and $48 for a family of two adults and up to two children or youth. The centre, a non-profit located on RCMP Academy land, is also hosting the “Who Wears the Uniform” exhibit in partnership with RUSI Regina. The exhibit opened May 25 and runs through August 22, sharing stories from Canadian Armed Forces members. All visits are subject to the current hours and admissions guidelines.
