The Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne Council will hold a public hearing on June 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM to consider three land-use applications that could reshape parts of the municipality. A fourth subdivision proposal will be presented during the regular council meeting the same day.
The public hearing at the Municipal Office at 395 Traverse Road includes a proposal from Dueck to expand an existing pig farm at 46087 Road 32E from 156 to 299 animal units. That puts the operation just below the 300-unit mark at which a provincial technical review would be required. Residents can attend in person or join virtually, and written comments must be in by June 9 at 4:00 PM.
Council will also hear a request from Stewart to place a previously used relocatable modular building as a secondary suite at 40084A Road 38E. A second application from Hiebert asks to redesignate and rezone a parcel from Agricultural Mixed-Use to Rural Residential, so the land could be used for a rural home instead of farming.
A fourth item, a notice of subdivision from Ashley Penner, proposes to create two 10-acre hobby farm lots out of a 138-acre property. Officials say that proposal is a notification only and will be presented during the regular council meeting, not as part of the formal public hearing.
