The Lethbridge Farmers’ Market kicks off its 64th season this Saturday, June 13, 2026, bringing back a morning full of family activities, free giveaways, and fresh local food to the Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre. Running from 8 AM to 1 PM at 101 Exhibition Way South, opening day will have something for all ages, with free admission and free parking for everyone.
The first 1,000 people through the gates will get free seeds, courtesy of Home Depot. Families can head to the Kids’ Zone for a bouncy castle, face painting, and balloon twisting. At the same time, a Seniors’ Corner hosted by the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization will offer activities for older adults.
Local group YQL Fiber Fun will be on site for Knit in Public Day, showing off spinning, knitting, and crocheting and inviting anyone to join in. The group normally meets twice a month at Centre Village Mall and offers free lessons for beginners. Food banks will also be at the market accepting donations for those in need.
Presented by the UFA Agricultural Community Foundation, the market is Lethbridge’s only Alberta-approved farmers’ market. That means at least 80 percent of items sold are made, baked, or grown right in Alberta. This year’s market is produced by Excite Lethbridge, the not-for-profit created in September 2025 when the old Lethbridge & District Exhibition split into two separate organizations.
The Saturday market runs weekly through October 17, except for breaks on August 15 and 22 during Whoop-Up Days. More information on vendors and upcoming events is available at lethbridgefarmersmarket.ca.
