A new Foam Party will bring splashy fun to Brantford’s Canada Day celebration on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Lions Park Steve Brown Sports Complex. The family-friendly event, presented by local deck builder Hickory Dickory Decks, features three shows throughout the afternoon to help families stay cool during the national holiday.
The Foam Party, with Team T & J, will run at 12:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m., and 4:15 p.m. in the Young Canadians Area. The kids entertainment company uses hypoallergenic foam that disintegrates within 10–15 minutes, making it safe for dancers on the concrete floor.
“This happens annually and so it’s something the people of our city can count on,” said Dave Carroll, Chair of the Brantford Canada Day Committee. “Just like the Santa Claus Parade, it’s an event where everyone gathers together as a community.”
The full-day event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., packed with a KidZone Carnival and Midway, food vendors, and a marketplace. Headlining the main stage at 8:30 p.m. is Canadian rock band Finger Eleven, known for hits like “Paralyzer” and “One Thing.” A fireworks display wraps up the night at 10:00 p.m. Free shuttle services will be available, and the full schedule is posted at Brantford.ca/CanadaDay.
