Olds residents looking to score a deal or clear out some clutter can head to the Olds Regional Exhibition‘s Spring into Summer Community Garage Sale this weekend. The event runs June 20-21, 2026, at the Future Ag Event Centre, formerly the Cow Palace, at 5116 54 St.
The indoor garage sale gives shoppers a chance to browse through items from multiple sellers all in one spot, without having to drive from house to house. It’s a practical way for locals to find bargains on used goods, crafts, and household items while supporting neighbours who are selling.
The venue got its new name last November when agricultural dealer Future Ag partnered with the exhibition, making the company its official equipment supplier. The building had been known as the Cow Palace for decades before the change.
The garage sale is just the start of a busy summer at the centre. Coming up next is Summer Synergy from July 6-9, one of the country’s largest youth livestock programs, run with 4-H Alberta, the Calgary Stampede, and Olds College. Later in July, the Christmas in July Market takes over on July 24-25.
The Olds Regional Exhibition has been part of the community for over 130 years, hosting more than 1,000 days of activity each year. It operates the weekly Olds Farmers Market every Thursday from 3:30-6:30 p.m. until September, with about 50 local vendors.
