The Town of Raymond is looking to hire a new full-time Legislative Services and RSIT Coordinator, a role that blends municipal government support with information technology work. The job was posted on July 7, 2026, and applications are being accepted until July 21.
This new position will see the successful applicant provide confidential administrative and legislative support to the top administrators for both the Town of Raymond and Improvement District 9 (ID9). ID9 is the municipal government for the area of Banff National Park outside the Town of Banff. The dual role means the Coordinator will help manage the flow of paperwork and bylaws for local council meetings here in Raymond, while also assisting the team that handles similar work for the national park area.
The job is a new addition to the town office, not a replacement for the current Legislative Services Coordinator, a role held by Kassidy Stevens. This expansion comes as Raymond continues to grow. The town has seen a 14 percent population increase over the past five years, one of the fastest rates in Alberta, and currently has about 22 full-time permanent staff.
