Regina-Wascana residents concerned about community safety are invited to a public town hall with four Conservative MPs on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Grace Mennonite Church, Fellowship Hall, in Regina, Saskatchewan. The event runs from 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:00 p.m., and pre-registration is required.
The town hall features local MPs Michael Kram (Regina-Wascana) and Warren Steinley (Regina-Lewvan), joined by MPs Larry Brock (Brantford—Brant South—Six Nations) and Arpan Khanna (Oxford). Organizers are billing it as a chance for residents to share their concerns and hear directly from their federal representatives.
Pre-registration through the Conservative Party website collects first name, last name, email, postal code, phone number, and age. The venue, Grace Mennonite Church, is located at 2935 Pasqua Street.
The event follows a mixed crime picture in Regina. While the city’s crime severity index fell 11 percent in 2024, moving from ninth to eleventh nationally, homicides nearly tripled from four in 2024 to eleven in 2025. Crimes against persons dropped nearly 14 percent and property crimes fell 15.8 percent, but arson, including bin fires, rose about 16 percent, according to police.
Khanna previously introduced the Jail Not Bail Act (Bill C-242), which was defeated at second reading in March 2026; the Conservatives have indicated they plan to reintroduce the legislation this fall. The bill would aim to strengthen public safety and rebalance the justice system toward law-abiding citizens. Both Kram and Steinley have held their seats since 2019, with Kram winning about half the vote in three straight elections and Steinley winning with between roughly 47 and 52 percent.
