Blue Mountain Village in Collingwood is set to shake the hills with the return of the Blue Mountain Rock Fest, a free outdoor concert series running from August 28 to 30.
The weekend event, anchored by two full days of live rock music, brings a lineup of regional acts to the Subaru Stage in the Village Plaza. On Friday night, the festival kicks off at 8 p.m. with Rock Fest, followed by a packed Saturday featuring The Burnouts, a Green Day tribute band, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and evening sets by Drew Wright at 7:15 p.m. and Madison Galloway from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday closes out the weekend with headliners The Carpet Frogs, joined by Peasant Kings, taking the stage.
The event is open to all ages and families, with no tickets required, continuing a tradition of accessible live music in the pedestrian-friendly resort hub. Last year’s edition drew crowds with Aero-Force, a top Aerosmith tribute act, and the 2026 lineup aims to match that energy with a mix of original rock and tribute performances.
Blue Mountain Rock Fest is one of several summer music draws at the Village this year, joining Reggae on the Mountain from July 24 to 26 and the new Gone Country Music Festival from July 10 to 12. Nestled between Collingwood and Thornbury at the foot of the Niagara Escarpment, Blue Mountain Village has leaned into its reputation as a four-season destination, with the Subaru Stage hosting everything from regional talents to national touring acts.
