Pembroke residents can expect a sunny and warm Monday, but Environment Canada is forecasting a shift to wetter weather by Tuesday.
The forecast for Monday, July 20, 2026 calls for a high of 25°C and a humidex of 28. The UV index is expected to reach 8, which is considered very high. There are no weather alerts in effect for the Petawawa-Pembroke-Cobden region at this time.
Residents are advised to take extra sun precautions on Monday, especially between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. when UV levels are at their peak. Environment and Climate Change Canada recommends staying in the shade, wearing UV-protective sunglasses, and reapplying sunscreen every two hours when the UV index is very high.
Conditions will change on Tuesday, July 21, with showers and a risk of thunderstorms expected in the late morning and afternoon. Southeast winds will pick up to 30 km/h, and the high will drop to 21°C. The UV index is forecast to be moderate at 3.
The rest of the week will feature mixed weather. Wednesday brings cloudy skies and a 30 percent chance of showers with a high of 18°C. Thursday returns to sunny skies and 25°C. Friday and Saturday look pleasant with a mix of sun and cloud and highs of 26°C and 27°C, while Sunday brings another chance of showers with a high of 25°C.
