Parts of Irving Street and Patricia Avenue in Pembroke will be without electricity on Thursday, July 23, 2026, while crews carry out distribution system improvements. The planned outage runs from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., according to Ottawa River Power Corporation.
The utility said the work is needed to upgrade local power infrastructure. Affected customers are those on Irving Street and Patricia Avenue. Residents should treat the 90-minute window as a rough guide, as power could return earlier or slightly later than listed.
This is the second planned interruption along Patricia Avenue this week. An earlier outage affecting only Patricia Avenue is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The upgrades are part of ongoing maintenance across Pembroke, which has seen several planned outages throughout July. The utility serves more than 11,300 customers in four communities: Almonte, Beachburg, Killaloe, and Pembroke.
Precise addresses are harder to pin down automatically, so anyone unsure whether they will be affected can visit the planned outages page on the ORPC website or call the utility directly.
