Raymond High School Comet athletes will wash cars at Victoria Sports Park on Friday, August 21, 2026 to raise money for school athletics. A minimum $10 donation per vehicle is requested, and all proceeds go to the school’s various sports programs and equipment needs.
The fundraiser runs alongside the Comets’ home football opener against the Harry Ainlay Titans, which is expected to bring spectators to the park. Organizers are encouraging community members to stop by and support student-athletes before the game.
The Comets have a strong sports tradition. Last season, the football team held a number two ranking in Alberta 5A and advanced to the provincial semifinals. The school’s athletics program includes football, basketball, rugby, and track and field.
Victoria Sports Park features Comet Stadium with artificial turf and seating for over 1,200 people. The facility also has multiple sports fields and a field house, which includes a concession and washrooms, making it a central gathering place for school and community events.
Raymond High School is part of the Westwind School Division. More information about the fundraiser is available on the school’s website.
