Mount Pearl is in for a mild week with a mix of sun and cloud, along with a few chances of showers, according to Environment Canada. No severe weather alerts are in effect.
As of Monday afternoon, conditions at St. John’s International Airport, which serves as the weather station for Mount Pearl, were mostly cloudy with a temperature of 20.7°C and humidity at 82 per cent. The humidex made it feel like 26.
Tuesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week, with a high of 26°C inland and 21°C along parts of the coast. Humidex values could reach 35 inland and 30 along the coast. There is a 60 per cent chance of showers on Tuesday, with fog patches dissipating in the morning and southwest winds gusting to 40 km/h.
Showers are also possible on Monday, with 2 to 4 mm expected, and again on Saturday with a 60 per cent chance. The rest of the week should see a mix of sun and cloud.
