The Association for the Arts in Mount Pearl (AAMP) is bringing back its annual ARTFUSiON Arts Week, a 10-day celebration of creative activities running from September 19 to 28, 2026 at The Annex on Old Placentia Road in Mount Pearl, NL.
More than 20 events are planned for all ages and skill levels, with most events free and requiring registration by email. Highlights include Crafternoon sessions where participants can try collage, painting, and fall crafts, an Artsy Games Night, and an All Ages Music Show on September 20 (tickets $15) featuring local bands Firing Squad, Piercing Damage, De Baptiste, Marking Time, Dead Volt, and Down Pour.
Other offerings include zine-making workshops, dance classes led by Elaine Dunphy of The Joy Restoration Project, and a photography workshop run by IceberGallery, a St. John’s-based artist-run non-profit. The week builds toward the main ARTFUSiON Festival on Sunday, September 27.
AAMP has been working since 2005 to make arts accessible in Mount Pearl. The Annex itself opened in June 2017 after a renovation of about $834,000, funded mostly by the provincial government with support from the City of Mount Pearl. The space gives AAMP a permanent home for programming.
More information and registration details are available on the ARTFUSiON Arts Week 2026 page.
