The Olds Fall Classic returns to the Megadome at Olds Regional Exhibition from October 2 to 4, 2026, bringing one of the region’s largest all-breed beef cattle showcases to Olds, Alberta. Residents can enter their livestock, equipment, or crafts through the Showman app portal.
The three-day event will highlight Black Angus, Blonde, Charolais, Hereford, Limousin, Red Angus, Shorthorn, Simmental, and Speckle Park breeds, along with the popular Stars of Tomorrow Jackpot Calf Show. The show is part of the Alberta Supreme Stakes circuit, meaning Champion Bull and Female winners qualify for the Alberta Supreme at Farmfair International in Edmonton and the RBC Beef Supreme at Canadian Western Agribition.
The 2024 edition set a record with more than 450 head of cattle and 114 exhibitors from across Western Canada, and organizers expect strong interest again this year. The Megadome offers over 28,750 square feet of exhibition space, making it a fitting venue for the region’s premier fall livestock event.
Olds Regional Exhibition, founded in 1899 by local farmers and ranchers, has hosted the Fall Classic for decades. The show has traditionally been the first major livestock event of Alberta’s fall season. Entries are processed through the Showman app, which streamlines online entries and payments for exhibitors.
The Olds Fall Classic runs October 2 to 4 at 5116 54 Street in Olds. More information and entry details are available through the Olds Regional Exhibition website.
