The Ajax Rotary Ribfest returns to Ajax, Ontario this year with a fresh music lineup and a wide variety of food options from June 5 to June 7, 2026. Held at Ajax Downs Casino, the three-day community event brings together live entertainment and award-winning barbecue to raise money for local and international charities.
The Rotary Club of Ajax has organized the festival for years, building on a history of over 70 years of service in the community. Through initiatives like this festival, the club has raised and donated more than $1 million to support various charitable projects.
Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of performances throughout the weekend. On Friday, June 5, the Bryan Adams tribute band Summer of 69 will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday’s entertainment includes solo musician Jake Staufer at 1:00 p.m., followed by the Latin Dancers of Durham at 4:00 p.m. The music concludes on Sunday, June 7, with a noon performance by singer-songwriter Georgia Rose.
Beyond the music, the event will host eight rib vendors, including Texas Rangers, Billy Bones, Boss Hogs, Silver Bullet, Bone Daddy, Camp 31, Uncle Sams, and Sticky Fingers. The festival grounds at 50 Alexander’s Crossing will also offer various other food options, including Halal dishes, blooming onions, and ice cream.
The event is designed to be family-friendly, offering a central space for residents to enjoy food and entertainment while supporting community causes.
