The Town of Blackfalds is recruiting volunteers for its Monster Bash Halloween event set for October 31, 2026, according to the town’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS).
Anyone interested in volunteering must complete a volunteer application form. Volunteers aged 18 and older also need a criminal record check, and a vulnerable sector search may be required. The town asks volunteers to reaffirm their interest every 24 months.
Beyond the Monster Bash, FCSS lists other local volunteer openings. The Snow Angel Program matches volunteers with residents who need help clearing snow from sidewalks and driveways during winter months. The Jim Hurley Free Skate needs a skate marshal on Sundays from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., running from September through March.
