The Town of Bracebridge, Ontario, is looking for a new lead instructor to oversee activities at the local municipal pool. Applications for the position are being accepted until March 26, 2026, as the community prepares for busy spring and summer programming.
The new lead instructor will work at the Bracebridge Sportsplex, which is the main hub for swimming in the area. This facility features three different swimming environments, including a 25-metre lap pool, a leisure pool with a beach-style entry, and a therapy pool.
This role is responsible for making sure the water programs remain safe and welcoming for all residents. The person hired will teach swim lessons, lead aqua fitness classes, and work as a lifeguard during public swims.
The lead instructor will report to the Wellness and Aquatics Coordinator. Beyond teaching classes, they will also help mentor and train the part-time staff members who work at the facility to ensure high standards for local recreation.
