The City of Brantford is hosting a free open house at the Walter Gretzky Municipal Golf Course on Saturday, March 28, 2026. This event, held in Brantford, Ontario, will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to help residents prepare for the upcoming spring season.
Visitors to the facility at 320 Balmoral Road can sign up for golf and lawn bowling memberships or register for local leagues. Staff will be available throughout the afternoon to answer questions and help guests secure cart storage for the year.
The open house includes free appetizers and refreshments for everyone who attends. For one day only, the city is also offering a special promotion where residents can buy a $100 gift card for Wally’s Grill and Patio for $85.
The golf course was originally built in 1957 and was later renamed to honour Walter Gretzky, a well-known figure in the community. This annual event is a standard way for the city to encourage residents to use local recreation spots and get involved in outdoor activities.
