Residents in Bridgewater should prepare for wet and windy conditions today, Sunday, April 5, 2026, as a storm system moves through the region. Environment Canada is forecasting periods of ice pellets mixed with freezing rain, changing to rain this afternoon, accompanied by patches of fog.
The weather agency expects 10 millimetres of precipitation during the day. While the area is currently under no official weather alerts, residents should be aware of changing conditions. Winds are expected to be strong, particularly for those near the coast, where gusts could reach up to 60 km/h this evening and after midnight.
