Residents in three Cambridge neighbourhoods should prepare for short power outages next week as GrandBridge Energy conducts maintenance to its electrical system. The utility provider has announced four-hour service interruptions for areas surrounding Trico Drive, Stirling MacGregor Drive, and Fairlake Drive.
The work is part of a broader effort to upgrade and maintain distribution infrastructure to ensure a reliable electricity supply for local homes and businesses. The interruptions are set for the morning hours of 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on three separate days:
- Monday, April 13: Trico Drive and surrounding area
- Wednesday, April 15: Stirling MacGregor Drive and surrounding area
- Thursday, April 16: Fairlake Drive and surrounding area
GrandBridge Energy notes that the outages for Trico Drive and Stirling MacGregor Drive have been rescheduled to these dates. The utility aims to provide at least two days of advance notice for planned service disruptions lasting longer than one hour. Customers in the affected areas are typically notified of these changes through automated telephone calls or emails.
