Families in Carberry can now sign up for this year’s summer day camp program, which offers eight weeks of activities for local children. The program, managed by Carberry and Area Parks & Recreation, is held at the Carberry Rink located at 500 Stickle Avenue.
The camp runs daily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, starting July 6 and ending August 28, 2026. Children who are at least five years old by July 1, 2026, are eligible to attend. Parents and guardians can register their children using an online form.
The program features a variety of weekly themes, including Barnyard Palooza, Superhero Academy, Nature Explorers, All Star Sports, Splish! Splash! Water Fun!, Ahoy! Pirates!, Our Community – Amazing Race Edition, and ART-Ventures. The cost for the program is $175 per week, with a reduced rate of $125 for the four-day Splish! Splash! week in August. Daily attendance is available for $30.
Payments can be made at the Town of Carberry office located at 44 Main Street using cash, debit, or credit card. E-transfers are also accepted by sending payments to [email protected], with the child’s name included in the memo. For children who require additional assistance, the program welcomes attendees to bring their own dedicated support person.
This summer’s recreation planning follows the hiring of Robyn Brydges as the new Director of Leisure and Arts in February 2026. Those with questions regarding the program or registration can contact the department at 204-834-6623 or via email at [email protected].
