Carberry and Area Parks & Recreation is bringing a floating sound bath to the Carberry Pool on August 15, 2026, at 6:30 PM. Instructor Lindsay from Brandon will guide participants through a calming sound meditation while they float. Registration is required, with spots starting at $50 for a twin setup.
The event combines the benefits of sound therapy with the gentle support of water. Sound baths use specific frequencies to help shift the brain into a deeply relaxed state. According to wellness trend reports, this can lower stress and may reduce cortisol levels by up to 65 percent.
Lindsay is a sound healing practitioner linked to Soul Synergy in Brandon. Brandon is about 30 minutes west of Carberry, making it possible for specialized instructors to visit smaller communities.
This is not the first time Carberry has hosted this type of event. A similar floating sound bath took place at the pool on July 15, 2026, according to a Facebook post from Carberry and Area Parks & Recreation. The August session continues what appears to be an ongoing wellness series.
The Carberry Pool is part of the Carberry Plains Community Centre, a hub that also includes rinks, a bowling alley, and a skate park. Carberry and Area Parks & Recreation serves the Municipality of North Cypress-Langford, which was formed in 2015 through municipal amalgamation.
Registration is mandatory. Twin spots cost $50, a queen single is $60, and a double is $110.
