The temperature is expected to reach 24°C, but with humidity factored in it will feel more like 31. Tuesday morning was already sticky, with readings of 21.3°C and 91 percent humidity at the Egbert observation station by 10 a.m., pushing the humidex to 29.
The unsettled pattern is part of what The Weather Network has called a “noncommittal and inconsistent” summer for Ontario, with more frequent showers and thunderstorms interrupting outdoor plans. No weather alerts are in effect for Collingwood as of Tuesday morning, though parts of southwestern Ontario were under severe thunderstorm watches the day before.
Better conditions are on the way. Thursday will bring sunny skies and a high of 26°C, followed by a sunny Friday with a high of 27°C. Humidity will still make it feel like 33 on Friday, making it the warmest-feeling day of the week.

Environment Canada calls for cloudy skies Saturday with a high of 23°C, while other forecasts suggest a chance of showers and a possible thunderstorm, particularly later in the day.
