On March 13, 2026, the Cornwall Police Service arrested three local men after finding a person who police allege had been held against his will and tortured in a basement in Cornwall, Ontario. Officers arrived at a home after receiving a call for information and discovered the victim with serious injuries.
The man was immediately taken to the hospital for medical care. Investigators took three suspects, aged 34, 35, and 48, into custody following the discovery. All three of the accused men are residents of Cornwall.
