The Watson Art Centre in Dauphin, Manitoba is getting set to host a summer concert featuring Winnipeg rock band The Haileys on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Billed as the final stop of their current tour, the show runs from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the venue’s historic Fire Hall and also includes opening sets from The Wet Towels and Red Lemon.
The Haileys, an award-winning all-female trio, took home Rock Band and Female-Fronted Band of the Year honours at the 2024 Manitoba Loud Music Awards. The band, made up of Hailey Legary on guitar and vocals, Hailey Hunter on bass and vocals, and Haley Matiation on drums, has built a reputation for energetic live shows. Organizers say being the last date of the tour means fans can expect a high-octane performance in the intimate Fire Hall space.
Music lovers in the Parkland have an earlier chance to see the group as well. The Haileys are also part of the lineup at Dauphin’s Countryfest, Canada’s longest-running country music festival, taking place June 25 to 28 at Selo Ukraina just outside the city. The two appearances give concertgoers a rare choice between a big festival stage and a close-up community venue experience within the same summer season.
Tickets for the Watson Art Centre show are $20 each. They go on sale July 16, 2026 and can be purchased in person at the centre’s box office at 104 First Street NW or online through the Watson Art Centre website. The concert is part of the centre’s 2026-2027 Concert Series, which continues to bring a mix of touring and regional talent to the provincially designated heritage building.
The venue itself has deep roots in the community. Originally constructed in 1905 as Dauphin Town Hall, it was saved from demolition in the 1970s through efforts led by Dr. Vernon L. Watson, a local dentist and musician. The building was renamed in his honour in June 1985 and now serves as a year-round hub for concerts, theatre, and art exhibits under the care of the Dauphin and District Allied Arts Council.
