The Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce will host its 2026 Business Awards on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingston, Ontario. The evening serves as a celebration of local business excellence, marking a significant milestone as the chamber commemorates 185 years of operation.
Established in 1841, the organization is the oldest chamber of commerce in Ontario. This year, the event will recognize achievements across ten categories, including Hospitality, Social Impact, New Business of the Year, Entrepreneur, Skilled Trades, Customer Experience, Non-Profit, Arts & Culture, Employer of the Year, and Business Person of the Year.
The event runs from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM and requires a business formal dress code. Attendees will gather for a cocktail reception featuring live entertainment and hors d’oeuvres before moving into the Jennifer Velva Bernstein Performance Hall for the awards ceremony.
The venue, located at 390 King Street West on the shores of Lake Ontario, was designed by Snøhetta and N45 architects. It opened in 2014 following a generous donation from philanthropists Alfred and Isabel Bader.
Tickets for the event are available through the chamber. The awards presentation highlights the ongoing contributions of local entrepreneurs and organizations to the broader Kingston community.
