MS Canada is seeking volunteers for the upcoming 2026 Kingston-Belleville MS Walk, which will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Lake Ontario Park and Pavilion in Kingston, Ontario.
The event, which begins at 11:00 AM, serves as a fundraiser to support research, advocacy, and services for the more than 90,000 Canadians currently living with multiple sclerosis. With the disease being diagnosed in approximately 12 people across the country every day, the walk acts as a critical local initiative for community support.
Organizers are looking for volunteers to assist with event day operations, including setting up and wrapping up the site, checking in participants and volunteers, and serving as route marshals or checkpoint attendants. Volunteers are expected to commit between 3 to 6 hours of their time on the day of the walk.
Those interested in supporting the cause can register through the Volunteer Kingston portal or directly on the organization’s website. For further questions regarding the volunteer roles, residents can contact Maria Cecilia Saba at [email protected].
The Kingston-Belleville walk is part of a larger national effort with similar events being held in over 50 communities across Canada. Last year, the event saw over 100 participants gather at the waterfront park to show their support.
