Families in Milton will have three weekends to visit Santa Morgan at the Milton Fairgrounds this December as the Halton Agricultural Society returns with its annual Santa at the Fairgrounds event for 2026. The free holiday gathering runs December 5-6, 12-13, and 19-20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at 136 Robert Street in downtown Milton, Ontario.
Visitors can enjoy photos with Santa for $15 each, shop from local vendors, and roast marshmallows over outdoor fire pits. The event shifted its dates slightly earlier compared to 2025, so families can plan their visits before the holiday rush.
For visitors who need a quieter experience, sensory-friendly visits with Santa are offered on December 12 and 13 from 10 to 11 a.m. The Halton Agricultural Society has run the fairgrounds since 1864 and introduced these calm morning hours in 2025, featuring reduced lighting and no background music.
Instead of charging admission, the fairgrounds will collect donations for the Milton Community Resource Centre’s Fill a Crib campaign. The campaign supports the local Infant Food Bank, which now helps more than 200 babies every month. Since 2021, the centre has seen a 60 per cent increase in families needing diapers, baby food, formula, and baby wipes.
The fairgrounds hosted its first Santa at the Fairgrounds in 2022 and has kept the event free to encourage family attendance. A temporary closure in August 2025 due to noise complaints was resolved after town council intervention, and the site has since reopened for community programming.
