The Saltwater Under the Stars night market returns to Mount Pearl for its sixth summer, with the next one taking place on July 23, 2026. The free outdoor market, hosted by Blackwood Events, will run every second Thursday at the 673 Topsail Road parking lot from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
This year’s dates are July 9, July 23, August 6, August 20, and August 27. More than 60 local vendors will be on hand each night, selling clothing, art, plants, jewelry, home decor, pet supplies, and treats. The family-friendly event also features live music and is open to pets.
Blackwood Events, a St. John’s-based company with roots going back to 1990, has been organizing the Saltwater Under the Stars market since 2021. Founder Stephanie Blackwood took over the family business in 2010 and incorporated the company in 2016. The night market has become a summer staple in the Mount Pearl area, offering residents a chance to support local artisans and small businesses in a relaxed evening setting.
Admission is free, and there is no charge to browse. Vendors interested in booking a booth can apply through the Blackwood Events website. Booth fees include a six-foot table and one chair. Vendors who book all five markets in advance get a 15 per cent discount.
The City of Mount Pearl’s events calendar does not list a market for July 16, 2026. The official schedule shows the next market after opening night is July 23.
