Roads across the Rural Municipality of Hanover will stay under spring weight limits until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 29, the municipality says.
AST and asphalt roads are posted at 65% of normal axle loadings on certain B1 municipal routes. Truck operators, farm haulers, and anyone moving heavy loads must follow the posted signs until they are removed.
The restrictions started March 25 to prevent pavement damage during thaw season. With the May 29 end date now just days away, the municipality is reminding drivers that the limits remain in effect.
