The Niverville Community Resource & Recreation Centre at 501 Centre Street is moving to its summer schedule starting June 14, 2026. New hours will cut weekday evenings short by two hours and reduce weekend access, a shift residents will want to note before heading out.
From June 14 onward, the centre will be open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Niverville Recreation & Wellness department. That’s down from the regular daily 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. schedule.
The changeover brings a short period of even tighter access. On June 12, the building will run on reduced hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and it will be closed completely on June 13. These adjustments are part of the seasonal switch, which happens each year as warmer weather cuts demand.
The facility, which opened July 1, 2021, includes a multi-use fieldhouse, arena, indoor playground, and multipurpose rooms. It’s home to the Niverville Nighthawks hockey team and a hub for fitness classes, wellness programs, and childcare.
