Olds, Alberta, residents can lock in their seats for the upcoming 2026-2027 concert series starting July 1, 2026. The Olds Kiwanis Performing Arts Society is launching season ticket sales, giving buyers the same reserved seat for all five professional shows.
The concert series runs between October and April each year at the TransCanada Theatre inside the Fine Arts & Multi-Media Centre on the Community Learning Campus. Season ticket holders get a guaranteed spot for every performance without having to scramble for seats.
The theatre itself has a deep community connection. The Kiwanis Club of Olds raised $187,132 through a campaign completed in April 2009 to purchase 390 seats for the venue, which opened in late 2008. Every seat bears a plaque with a dedication, reflecting the town’s investment in local arts.
The performing arts society, incorporated in 2009, was formed to keep professional programming alive in the space. Its volunteer board is chaired by Joe Gustafson, a Kiwanis member since 1975, alongside Vice Chair Brent Williams and Treasurer Bill Johnston.
The Fine Arts Theatre is part of the Community Learning Campus, a joint venture between Olds College of Agriculture & Technology and Chinook’s Edge School Division, with support from the Town of Olds and Mountain View County.
Season ticket sales begin July 1, 2026. Residents are encouraged to visit the society’s website for details on securing their same seat for all five concerts.
