The Cruisin’ on First Classic and Custom Car Show returns to Orangeville, Ontario, next week, bringing a weekly display of vintage and custom vehicles to the community. The event is set to run every Wednesday evening from May 20 through September 30, 2026, at the Canadian Tire parking lot located at 99 First Street.
Residents are invited to view the collection of classic cars, trucks, and custom rides each week from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., weather permitting. The Town of Orangeville notes that there is no admission fee to attend the family-friendly gathering.
The show, which has been organized by local enthusiast David Murphy since 2015, routinely attracts more than 250 vehicles on a typical Wednesday. During themed event nights throughout the summer, that number can grow to as many as 400 vehicles on display.
After a two-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show resumed in 2022 and has continued to serve as a hub for local car culture. In addition to his work with the Cruisin’ on First series, Murphy also coordinates other regional automotive events, including the Blues Cruise, the Ribfest Car Show, and the Fall Fair Car Show.
Those interested in updates regarding the weekly displays can follow the event on Facebook or contact the organizer via email at [email protected].
