The Durham Regional Police Service is searching for three men after a stabbing in downtown Oshawa, Ontario on February 26, 2026. Officers were called to the corner of Celina Street and Bruce Street at roughly 10:40 p.m. following reports of a person with a weapon.
Investigators say a man and his friend were walking when three unknown men approached them. After the group got into a verbal argument, one of the suspects stabbed the man and all three suspects ran away from the scene before police arrived.
The victim was rushed to a trauma centre in the Toronto area with serious injuries. As of March 2, 2026, police confirmed the man is in stable condition while he continues to recover.
Officers are now looking for three suspects who were described as a White man, a Black man about five-feet-six-inches tall, and a second White man standing about six-feet tall. Detective Constable Armstrong is leading the investigation into the attack for the Central East Division.
Police are asking anyone with information or video from the area to come forward. This includes dashcam footage or security recordings from the night of the incident. Tips can be shared with the police or provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
