The Pembroke Night Market is set to return to the downtown core for its third consecutive summer season, offering residents a weekly opportunity to explore local goods and entertainment starting in June 2026. Hosted by Valley Markets & Events and the Pembroke Business Improvement Area, the event will take place every Friday from 5-9 PM throughout June, July, and August.
The market will be held at the Pembroke Farmers’ Market location, situated at the corner of Victoria Street and Lake Street. Visitors can expect a variety of local artisans, crafters, and food vendors at the site. The market will also feature specific themes throughout the summer, such as a Barket Market, Christmas in July, Paint Night, SummerWeen Market, and a Boots & Denim Market.
Stacy Taylor, the board chair for the business improvement group, noted that the night market serves as a positive addition to the downtown experience. She encouraged residents to incorporate the weekly event into their plans, suggesting visitors stop by the market before or after dining at local downtown eateries.
The 2026 season coincides with the 50th anniversary of the business improvement area, which is led by Executive Director Bethea Summers. Since its debut in July 2024, the night market has grown in popularity, drawing crowds with its blend of shopping, live entertainment, and community activities.
